48-Seat Coach Hire: Choosing the Right Model
Published

When arranging 48-seat coach hire, the useful question is not which model is best but which model suits this job. A vehicle ideal for an eight-hour cross-border run is not necessarily right for city work with height-restricted access. Kanayont operates three 48-seat models across a fleet of 28, all on Mercedes-Benz chassis with bodies assembled in-house.

Star King VIP
The flagship. Every VIP seat carries the AirLumba massage system, designed to support the lower back over long distances, reclining to 140 degrees, with a personal screen in every seatback and a HI-END audio system. The Benz Turbo Intercooler engine produces 422 HP, the highest in the fleet.
Suits: long-distance work, overnight trips, cross-border journeys, and groups of executives or important guests.
Skyliner
A double-decker built around comfort on mid-range routes. Seats recline to 140 degrees with leg rests in high-quality velvet, with three TV points, DVD, HD player and karaoke, on a 360 HP Benz Turbo Intercooler engine.
Suits: seminars, domestic study trips, and general corporate work where full comfort is expected.
Retro Classics (2026)
The newest vehicle in the fleet and the only single-deck model. Built on the O321 Retro Chassis, it looks markedly different from a conventional coach. High-quality velvet seating, two TV points, DVD, karaoke and a full audio system, on a 360 HP Benz Turbo Intercooler engine, seating the same 48 passengers.
Suits: height-restricted routes, factory or building destinations a double-decker cannot enter, and occasions where the vehicle's appearance matters — weddings, launches, or anything being photographed.
Single-deck does not mean lesser. It means it fits where a double-decker cannot.
How to Choose
If you are unsure, send the schedule and destination and let the team advise — the deciding constraint is usually entrance height at the destination rather than preference. On multi-coach jobs, use one model throughout so every passenger gets the same experience.

Do you have anything smaller than 48 seats? No. All 28 vehicles are 48-seat VIP coaches.
In Short
Getting 48-seat coach hire right starts with the destination's constraints and only then moves to comfort level — not the other way round.
